 About me

Hi there! My name is Tarah and I grew up in Manila, Philippines. I have been blessed to travel and live abroad at an early age. My family used to live in the middle east in the 1980s and then after a few years back in the Philippines, I travelled to America then later found myself living in my own apartment, paying my own bills and working two jobs in Los Angeles, California. I met my Dutch husband there after which we decided to permanently move  here in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

That’s my journey in a nutshell. Having spent most of my life outside my home country, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of diverse cultures—but there’s always more to learn. Along the way, I know I’ll meet more fellow Filipinos (marami parin rin po akong makikilala). Through my writing, I hope to inform, inspire, and influence others on the same path. Maraming salamat po! Thank you for stopping by—see you again soon!
